Renewable biomass fuel
Our Category 1 & 2 conditioning plant produces a high quality fuel grade biomass product (Meat and bone meal – MBM) for several major industrial renewable energy facilities within the United Kingdom.
Biomass MBM is often the preferred choice of fuel in comparison with more traditional fuels such as wood biomass, refuse derived fuel (RDF) or solid recovered fuel (SRF). MBM attracts renewal energy incentives from the UK government and has a significant calorific value e.g. >17MJ/kg.
We guarantee fast and safe transportation of over 50,000 tonnes of MBM to major energy from waste facilities in the UK every year.
